CLIENT TERMS
Terms of service
Version 2026-08-20-v1 · Effective 20 August 2026
These terms apply to the online personal-training service and portal supplied by Liam Robbert David Smit, sole trader, ABN 78 510 376 876, trading as The Built Mthd. Contact: coach@thebltmthd.com.
Eligibility and accounts
The service is available by manual invitation to Australian clients aged 18 or older. Each account requires a unique email and must not be shared. You must provide accurate information, protect access to your email, one-time sign-in codes and active sessions, and promptly report suspected misuse.
Coaching scope and safety
The Built Mthd provides online personal training, programs, habits, check-ins, progress records and downloadable PDFs. It is not an emergency service and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Exercise carries risk. Follow the instructions and reasonable safety guidance provided, work within your abilities, stop if you feel unwell or unsafe, and seek appropriate medical advice before starting or changing activity when needed. In an emergency in Australia, call 000.
Your information and content
You retain rights in information you provide and permit The Built Mthd to host, use and display it only as needed to deliver, secure and administer the service. Program material is supplied for your personal coaching use and must not be commercially redistributed without permission.
Access, suspension and closure
Access may be restricted or suspended to protect a client, investigate misuse, respond to withdrawal of required consent, or secure the service. You may request export or closure through the support email. Retention and deletion follow the privacy notice.
Availability
The availability target is 99.5%, excluding planned maintenance and events outside reasonable control. Login or outage reports have a 4-hour first-response target; normal support has a 24-hour target. These are response targets, not guarantees of resolution within that period.
Australian consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. To the extent permitted by law, each party remains responsible for loss caused by its own acts or omissions.
Changes and disputes
Material changes will be communicated appropriately and renewed agreement requested where required. Contact coach@thebltmthd.com first so a concern can be investigated. These terms are governed by applicable Australian law and, where relevant, the law of Queensland.
